I am sorry for missing the class last week . I couldnot find the handout and asked one of my colleagues to lend me his hand out ,but he emailed me that he doesnot have any handout. I am sorry for missing class ,but ineed to receive the handout. Can i come to you in your office hours to receive handout

    There's quite a lot of repetition in this message Sultan. You write "sorry for missing class" twice and you use the word "handout" five times. In total you wrote 61 words. Have a look at this 50-word alternative and let me know what you think:

    Dear X

    I’m sorry that I was unable to attend your class last Tuesday but I had a visa appointment which could not be rearranged. Is it possible for you to email me any handouts I missed? Alternatively, I could collect them from you during your office hours.
